Verlander gave up six runs and eight hits in six innings, with four hits: DJ LeMahieu's two-run shot in the first inning, Jasson Dominguez's two-run shot in the third inning, Giancarlo Stanton's two-run shot in the fifth inning and Judge's two-run shot in the fifth inning.

Dominguez, the No. 2 prospect on the Yankees' farm, was promoted to the major leagues on Monday as the fifth batter and center fielder. He hit a home run in the first and second pitches of the major leagues, becoming the sixth rookie in franchise history to open his career with a Homer, joining Judge in 2016.

Judge's fifth-inning home run was his 30th of the season, setting a new record for himself as he hit 250 in 810 games, surpassing Phillies star Ryan Howard's 855.
