God is coming again! Cardinals legend Albert Pujols hit a two-run shot in the third inning and a three-run shot in the fourth, making him the 699th and 700th player in major league history.

In the Cardinals' visit to the Dodgers today, Albert Pujous hit Dodgers starter Andrew Heaney with a two-run shot in the third inning. The ball traveled 434 feet at 108 MPH and sent it into the left field stands to give the Cardinals a 2-0 lead.

It was Pujols' turn to bat with runners on first and second in the fourth, and the Dodgers changed pitches, only to see Pujols open the scoring against Phil Bickford, a three-run shot that extended the gap to 5-0 with five rbis in a double play.

It was Pujous's 699,700 and 21 this season, giving him his 18th 20-hit season at age 42, the third-most of all time behind Hank Aaron's 20 and Barry Bonds' 19.

There have been three members of the 700 Club in major league history: Bonds (762), Hank Aaron (755), and Babe Ruth (714). Pujous is the fourth person in the history of the 700 Club
