The Houston Astros, who are part of the American League West Division of the Major League Baseball (MLB), suffered a 0-6 and 0-4 Shutout against the Milwaukee Brewers, who lead the NL Central Division, in Wisconsin on May 23 and 24.

The Brewers and Astros once shared the NL Central Division, but the Astros switched to the AL in the fall of 2013.

The Houston Astros won eight straight games from May 14 to 22. The team has won seven straight games at least once in every season since the 2014 season; And since the 2017 season, they have played at least one eight-game winning streak every season.

The Astros entered the game with a 3.21 defense average and 171 runs surrendered, the best in the major leagues in both categories.

The Brewers hit a two-run home run to center field in the bottom of the first inning and two home runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to win the game on Sunday afternoon.

The Brewers picked up 30-year-old right-hander Adrian David Houser, who pitched 73 pitches and finished 5.1 innings, striking out three opponents with four balls and walking one. Houser got his first win of the regular season by allowing only two of his first 16 at-bats to reach base.

Hausser played in the minor leagues for the Houston Astros.

It was the Brewers' second victory in the last seven games of the series. The team has a 21-4 record this season if it wins first.

Starting May 25, the Brewers will play four straight games at home against the San Francisco Giants from California.

The Brewers took only 2 hours and 9 minutes to finish the afternoon game, the first time they had done so since beating the Denver Rockies in 2 hours and 31 minutes on the night of Sept. 6, 2008, in Colorado.
