Ben Simmons, an Australian guard for the NBA Nets, said on a podcast that he felt unsupported by his former team, the Philadelphia 76ers, when dealing with mental health issues.

Simmons, who did not play a game for the 76ers in the 2021-22 season, was swapped for basketball star James Harden in a trade in February, Central News Agency reported, citing Agence France-Presse.

According to reports, simmons in the 2016 draft is 76 person, in draft, claiming the new artist of the year in 2018, the next three seasons are included in the all-star game, but poor performance in the playoffs in 2021 caused 76 loss to Atlanta, flak, count, never report to the team training camp next season.

"I was in a terrible situation," Simmons said on The Old Man & the Three podcast, hosted by former teammate JJ Redick. "I tried to come and play, but you guys were like bugged me with other things that didn't matter and didn't help."

"Are what I want to help. I think there is no help from coaches and teammates over there. I wouldn't say all the teammates are so, because there are still some great people in my team, they do lend a helping hand to me, is still my friend. But I just felt that he hadn't get help, here is a very difficult place to me."

To complicate matters, Simmons also suffered from a back injury last year and didn't play a game for either the 76ers or the Nets, but after back surgery in May, he said he looks forward to contributing for the Nets.

Simmons now tells Riddick he's looking to the future. He is expected to join Nets teammates Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in training camp later this month.

Simmons said he can't wait. "New size, New Jersey. I'm really looking forward to it. I think we're going to make a special team."

"I think if we work together, we can be champions. That's the ultimate goal," he said.
