Otani has two Rbis in a row, has contributed 95 Rbis this season, and is on track to achieve the "Quintuple 100" for the second time in his career.

Otani accumulated 100 Rbis, 138 hits, 103 runs, 130.1 innings pitched, and 156 strikeouts in the 2021 season, becoming the first Quintuple 100 player in major league history.

Otani, who has a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow, has 132 innings, 167 strikeouts, 150 hits and 101 runs to his credit this season, and the Angels have 28 more regular games to play and should be on track to hit the RBI mark.

It is worth mentioning that the Angels have played 134 games this year, because Ohtani only threw 132 innings, no longer meet the requirements of pitching innings, the previous defense percentage of 3.14 (5th), batted average of 0.184 (1st) and average on base per inning of 1.06 (5th), were removed from the pitcher's performance ranking.
