Confirmed Visit To James Mansion Interview Lillard: Don't Think It Was Recruitment

Russell Westbrook's visit to LeBron James' mansion before he joined the Lakers last summer, combined with the presence of Anthony Davis for a chat, So did DeMar DeRozan and Damian Lillard.

Drow later revealed that he thought it was a foregone conclusion to join the Lakers, and Lillard, who also met with James and Davis, recently recalled the incident. "James said, 'Come over to my house,' and I thought, no good, because I'm going away and I'm only available tomorrow, so I decided to stop by," Lillard recalled.

Lillard added: "We just talked about possibilities and James asked how things were going and I admitted I was a bit confused about the direction of the team. It was that kind of conversation, but I don't see it as recruiting, I still see myself as a pioneer, just giving each other a chance, I'm not going to criticize and threaten my own team, it's just being honest.
