James Harden caused a stir when he called 76ers chief Daryl Morey a liar. In addition to Joel Embiid deleting the word "Philadelphia" from his personal Twitter account, PJ Tucker also supported Harden in his personal Instagram post.

Harden took a pay cut last offseason to sign a two-year, $68.6 million contract with a second-year player option in order to give the 76ers room to land Tucker. However, Harden did not agree with the 76ers on a contract extension this year, and finally decided to exercise the player option first, and asked the 76ers to trade him.

At one point, the Speedboat was interested in Harden, but the two sides were never able to reach an agreement. The 76ers also announced recently to stop trading discussions, which is suspected to make Harden greatly dissatisfied, calling Morey a liar
