Brazilian superstar Neymar has signed with Saudi League giants Al Hilal to leave Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) after six seasons with the French Ligue 1 champions, the clubs said today. Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo and France's Karim Benzema have joined Saudi Arabia on lucrative contracts.

"I am in Saudi Arabia, I am a member of al-Hilal," the 31-year-old Neymar said in a video posted on the team's social media account, AFP reported.

"It is never easy to say goodbye to a legend like Neymar, one of the best players in the world," PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi said in a statement.

"I will never forget the day he came to PSG and his contribution to our club and programme over the past six years. We had a great time together and Neymar will always be an important part of our history."
